Mr. Sagar Kafle is a Fellow at AIDIA. Mr. Kafle has done Master in Biosystems Engineering from Kangwon National University, South Korea, where he conducted research on Energy and its impact on environment. He has completed Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, from Institute of Engineering, Eastern Regional Campus, Dharan, Nepal. He has published few research articles related to energy & environment in the International Journals. He also writes op-ed on National Magazine, The Kathmandu Post, related to agricultural mechanization promotion.

He has worked in Rural Reconstruction Nepal, a NGO working to uplift the rural life of Nepal, in Sankhuwasabha district, Nepal. Where, he worked as a technical person.

After completion of master degree from South Korea, his strong desires to work for the homeland bring him back to Nepal. He has worked in Nepal College of Information and Technology (NCIT) as a visiting faculty in Civil Engineering department for the fall semester in 2016. Currently he is working as a Jr. Professor in the Nepal Engineering College (NEC), civil engineering department.

Besides working at the Engineering College, he is learning Nepal, Korea & Japan energy policies and its impact on environment. He is also conceptualizing the program to encourage young researcher on conducting quality of research and publishing research articles on international standard journal.

Mr. Kafle is currently working as the fellow on Energy & Agriculture at the Asian Institute of Diplomacy and International Affairs (AIDAI).
